Editorial policy
Editorial standards for 2026
Kemora is an independent health-information publication. We seek to explain rather than persuade, separate education from advertising, and make uncertainty visible. Articles are written for general readers and are reviewed for clarity, context, and responsible framing.
. Standard of practice
Editors consider source quality, relevance, date, conflicts, cultural context, and whether a claim is stronger than the available evidence. We avoid fear-based language, exaggerated certainty, shame, and unsupported promises. Corrections are welcomed through the contact page and are dated when they materially alter an article. Drafts are checked for clear attribution, understandable limitations, and language that does not turn general information into personal instruction. Where a source is time-sensitive, editors record the publication or review date and may revisit the wording when relevant guidance changes. Contributors are asked to disclose relationships that could reasonably affect a topic, and those disclosures are considered when assigning, editing, or presenting material. A correction request should identify the page, the passage, the concern, and any supporting source; the team aims to acknowledge it within five working days and record a substantive outcome. Advertising and partnership material is handled under the separate advertising policy and is not allowed to determine an editorial conclusion.
Review log
The policy was reviewed on 12 October 2026. The next planned review is October 2027, with earlier review if editorial processes or applicable standards change. The review record may note the date, the section considered, the reason for an update, and the person responsible for approval without publishing private contributor information. Source material is normally retained with the working record for the life of the article and for up to 24 months after a correction or complaint is closed, subject to legal and operational requirements. Readers can request clarification through Jalan Merdeka 15, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Jakarta 10340, Indonesia, or +62 813 6789 2145; the editorial desk aims to acknowledge a substantive report within five working days and explain its decision within 15 working days where practical.
